That you reach by setting in Tab Scripts > Post Processing the spezial format. You can print more complex and larger 3D models, but you will also need to make more filament changes manually. If "M3D" is Makerbot printer you need their own print format. Because you are going to change colors (filaments) manually, it is best to use model with few color changes, such as flat signs or similar models. I used to be able to bring the gcode files into M3d I'd like to define a plane that would cut the model and let me choose to print just part of the model. Instead of printing the whole model, I'd like to just print part of it so I can test the fit. If I hit print Preprep to print, with the model positioned half below the Z, >Īctually it shows it as just half in the M3D printer but then it says optimizing and then the whole model shows up. I have a model where I want a round magnet to to have a nice press fit into the PLA.
